Reciprocate (verb)

[ri-sip-ruh-keyt] / rɪˈsɪp rəˌkeɪt/

Meaning: to give something in return, or feel something in return.

Imagine, you went to Paris last month. You have a friend (John) who lives there. While you were in Paris, John took very good care of you and showed you around.

Now John is visiting your country next week. What would you do? You would definitely take care of John the same way he did. Right?
That is called “reciprocation“.
John showed you great hospitality in Paris. Next week, you will reciprocate.
