Meaning: something that cannot be avoided or stopped from happening.
There are some things in life that cannot be avoided or stopped. They will happen for sure. For example, Death is going to happen for sure and cannot be avoided. Death is inevitable.
Imagine you have a friend, John. He always drinks and drives his car. If he continues to do that, one day he will meet with an accident for sure. You can say,
“If you keep doing that, an accident is inevitable.”
“If you keep doing that, you will inevitably meet with an accident.”
