[binj] / bɪndʒ /

Meaning: to do something excessively, especially drinking, eating or watching TV.

John wanted to eat some chips while watching TV, but he ended up eating 2 bags of chips. That is binge-eating. John was very sad, he walked into a bar and drank 20 drinks, that is binge-drinking.

Imagine your friend told you that “Breaking Bad” is a great show and you should watch it.
You wanted to watch just one episode today and started watching it. The show was so good that you ended up watching an entire season without stopping.
That is called binge-watching or binging.
You could say to your friend, “Hey I binged the entire show last night. Thanks for recommending it.”
